Your site visit checklist

A site visit is your best chance to understand a project beyond the brochure. Take this checklist along.

On the way

  • Time the drive from your office and your children’s school at the hour you would normally travel.
  • Notice the approach road, street lighting and public transport nearby.

At the project

  • Ask to see the RERA registration and the approved site plan.
  • Check which direction your preferred unit faces and what it will overlook.
  • Look at the construction quality on site: finished walls, plumbing points and the material stacked for use.
  • Walk the distance from the tower to parking, the clubhouse and the main gate.

In the sample flat

  • Confirm the carpet area of the unit, and which fittings are part of the offer.
  • Open windows and doors — check light, ventilation and noise.

Before you leave

  • Ask for the all-inclusive cost sheet and payment plans in writing.
  • Ask for the committed possession date and the latest construction update.
